2. What personal data we collect

We collect and process the following categories of personal data:

2.1 Data you provide to us

  • Contact information: first name, last name, email address, company name — when you book a demo, fill out a form, or contact us.
  • Account data: login credentials, business profile, and preferences — when you create an account.
  • Communication data: content of emails, messages, and support requests you send us.
  • Billing data: invoicing details (company name, IČO, DIČ, billing address) — processed for contractual and legal obligations.

2.2 Data collected automatically

  • Technical data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, screen resolution.
  • Usage data: pages visited, time spent, clicks, features used, referral source.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: see Section 7 below.

2.3 Data from connected platforms

When you connect advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads, Microsoft Ads, etc.) or analytics tools, we access campaign performance data, ad spend, conversion metrics, and related business data. This data is associated with your business account, not with individual end users of your advertisements.

2.4 Google Ads API Data

When you connect a Google Ads account to AI Marketer, you authorize AI Marketer through Google's OAuth 2.0 authorization process to access data from the Google Ads accounts that you select.

Depending on the functionality used, this data may include Google Ads customer and account identifiers, campaigns, ad groups, advertisements, assets, budgets, keywords, search terms, campaign settings, conversion data, and advertising performance metrics such as impressions, clicks, cost, conversions, conversion value, and related reporting data.

AI Marketer uses Google Ads data solely to provide user-facing functionality requested by the Customer, including campaign monitoring, performance analysis, reporting, anomaly detection, cross-channel analysis, forecasting, and personalized recommendations.

AI Marketer does not sell Google Ads data or use Google Ads data for advertising, retargeting, interest-based advertising, creditworthiness assessment, or other purposes unrelated to providing the AI Marketer service.

AI Marketer's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

2.5 Use of Google Ads data with AI

AI Marketer may process Google Ads data using automated systems and AI models in order to provide analysis, insights, and recommendations to the Customer who authorized access to that data.

Google Ads data is not used to train, develop, or improve generalized or foundation AI/ML models.

Any processing of Google Ads data by AI systems is performed solely to provide user-facing AI Marketer functionality to the Customer whose account the data belongs to.

3. Legal bases for processing

We process your personal data on the following legal bases under Article 6(1) GDPR:

  • Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b)): processing necessary to provide our services, manage your account, and fulfill our contractual obligations.
  • Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)): analytics to improve our services, fraud prevention, direct marketing to existing customers (in accordance with § 7(3) of Act No. 480/2004 Sb.).
  • Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)): compliance with Czech accounting and tax law (Act No. 563/1991 Sb. on accounting; Act No. 235/2004 Sb. on VAT).
  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): marketing communications to non-customers, non-essential cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal.

4. How we use your data

  • To provide, maintain, and improve our services.
  • To process demo requests and communicate with you.
  • To send service-related notifications and updates.
  • To send marketing communications (with your consent or on the basis of legitimate interest for existing customers, per § 7 of Act No. 480/2004 Sb.).
  • To analyze usage and improve user experience.
  • To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.

4.1 Google API data use limitation

For clarity, the general analytics and service-improvement purposes described above apply to AI Marketer website usage, account usage, and product interaction data.

Data obtained through Google APIs is used only to provide or improve user-facing AI Marketer functionality for the Customer who authorized access. Google API data is not used for unrelated product development, generalized AI model training, advertising, profiling, retargeting, or other unrelated purposes.

5. Data sharing and transfers

5.1 Service providers

We use trusted service providers acting on our behalf to operate AI Marketer, including cloud hosting, database infrastructure, email, analytics, payment processing, monitoring, and, where applicable, AI inference providers. All processors are bound by data processing agreements in accordance with Article 28 GDPR.

Such providers may process Google Ads data only where necessary to provide AI Marketer's user-facing functionality and only on our instructions. They are not permitted to use Google Ads data for their own independent purposes.

We do not sell Google user data or share it with advertising platforms, data brokers, information resellers, or other third parties for their own purposes.

5.2 International transfers

Some of our service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). In such cases, we ensure appropriate safeguards as required by Chapter V of the GDPR, including:

  • EU adequacy decisions (Article 45 GDPR).
  • Standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission (Article 46(2)(c) GDPR).

5.3 Legal requirements

We may disclose personal data where required by law, regulation, or court order, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

6. Data retention

  • Account data: retained for the duration of your account and 30 days after deletion.
  • Billing data: retained for 10 years as required by Czech accounting law (Act No. 563/1991 Sb.).
  • Marketing consent records: retained for the duration of consent plus 3 years.
  • Technical and usage data: retained for up to 26 months.
  • Demo request data: retained for 12 months if no contract follows.
  • Connected platform data: data imported from Google Ads and other connected platforms is retained while the integration is active and for up to 30 days after the integration is disconnected or the Customer requests deletion, unless a longer retention period is required by applicable law.

After the applicable retention period expires, the data is deleted or irreversibly anonymized.

6.1 Disconnecting Google Ads and deleting Google data

  • Customers may disconnect their Google Ads integration at any time from AI Marketer.
  • Customers may also revoke AI Marketer's access directly through their Google Account permissions.
  • Customers may request deletion of data previously imported from Google Ads by contacting us at marketing@ai-marketer.cz.
  • Following a valid deletion request, we will delete the applicable Google Ads data within 30 days, except where retention is required by applicable law.

7. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies in accordance with the ePrivacy Directive as transposed by Act No. 127/2005 Sb. on electronic communications (zákon o elektronických komunikacích).

  • Essential cookies: necessary for the website to function. No consent required.
  • Analytics cookies: help us understand how visitors use our website. Require your consent.
  • Marketing cookies: used to deliver relevant advertisements. Require your consent.

You can manage your cookie preferences at any time through the cookie settings on our website or through your browser settings.

Google Ads API data obtained through a Customer's connected Google Ads account is not used for AI Marketer's marketing cookies, audience creation, advertising, retargeting, personalized advertising, or interest-based advertising.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR and Czech data protection law, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access (Art. 15): obtain confirmation and a copy of your personal data.
  • Right to rectification (Art. 16): correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to erasure (Art. 17): request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Right to restriction (Art. 18): restrict processing in certain circumstances.
  • Right to data portability (Art. 20): receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Right to object (Art. 21): object to processing based on legitimate interest, including direct marketing.
  • Right to withdraw consent (Art. 7(3)): withdraw consent at any time.

10. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction, in accordance with Article 32 GDPR. These measures include encryption of data in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, regular security assessments, and employee training.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on our website. The current version is always available at this page.
